World Prostate Cancer Day

This June 11th, we celebrate World Prostate Cancer Day. At GP Pharm, we join this celebration with the aim of raising awareness and educating society about this disease, as well as informing about the importance of early diagnosis. 
 

Key facts in Spain:

• Around 33,000 new cases are diagnosed annually.
• Deaths do not exceed 6,000 per year.
• 80% of diagnosed patients survive more than 10 years thanks to effective treatments.
• High awareness and accessible tests (blood tests and digital rectal exams) allow 90% of cases to be detected at an early stage, significantly improving the prognosis.
